I can't seem to find the KDRV 12 story on the Battle, but I remember the beautiful reporter who Scott got to talk too. If you're out there... would you send us a link or a video file? We'd love others to see it.

EVERY partner and sponsor is on board for next year. The City of Central Point increased it's participation and sponsorship! There will be no shortage of Oysters ever again! I commend Matt Samitore, the Director of the Parks and Recreation Foundation, for recognizing the value of this event for the Rogue Valley and beyond.

But if I'm going to shine the light on anyone this weekend, it would be a flood light on all of you warriors of the grill! You accomplished a marathon cook-off. That's what Battle of the Bones is, it's the IRONMAN endurance and performance sport of the culinary world. With your energy, your dedication, we're defining a new understanding of Barbecue Competition. There's nothing like the Battle of the Bones, and if it aint Scott Knapp, it aint gonna be Smokin!

Let's all buy 2009 calendars, and get ready to write in Battle of the Bones next year.... it's going to put this one too shame!
