Great job trane. Overall was good event. hey want to help you guys organize the judging competitions next year. Most the complaints were how these wee handled. I have a feeling you will lose a lot of bbq competitors if this isnt corrected. I dont want to be a judge just organize how the judged food comes in with times and needs to be anonymous for sure.Give me a call Lets make next years way bigger and better. 541-295-2125

Thanks for the heads up Trane. I'm glad we're using half chickens. Chicken breasts have a tendency to dry out after prolonged periods of time. Nothing is worse than dry chicken that is over sauced. See ya the 16th.

Greetings Trane, Just a couple of questions, Are the oysters in or out of the shell? I assume in the shell. Also, will we be using whole chickens, half chickens or breasts? Thank you in advance.

I have some concerns about how long we will have to cook the meat. For example; on the schedule page, for saturday, it states that the "Meat Distribution" for the chicken is not untill 3 p.m., and that the tasting begins at 6 p.m.

Can't wait to participate in the battle of the bones next month. I'm with Dunn Right, the Chilli Days BBQ champion this year from GP.

My only peeve is that i'll be too busy q'ing while the brew tasting is going on elsewhere!!

There are some details left unclear on your sign up/ rule sheets, so i have questions since we missed the meeting earlier in September. if this is a good place to ask post pack and let me know
